Two female actresses have come forward with allegations against action star Steven Seagal. Portia de Rossi and Julianna Margulies have accused Seagal of seperate, inappropriate casting couch encounters.

According to de Rossi, who is married to daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, she auditioned for Seagal in a hotel room and the encounter was less than professional. She recounted her accusation on Twitter.

My final audition for a Steven Segal movie took place in his office. He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants. I️ ran out and called my agent. Unfazed, she replied, “Well, I didn’t know if he was your type.”

DeGeneres tweeted out a message of support for de Rossi, writing: “I’m proud of my wife.”

Margulies made her claims against Seagal last week in an interview with Jenny Hutt on SiriusXM. The actress said a female casting director told her Seagal wanted a meeting “to go over the scene with you in his hotel room,” at 10 o’clock at night.

She said she tried to get out of the meeting, but the casting director overcame her objections and set it up.

Margulies, who was 23 at the time, arrived to find an armed Seagal, alone.

“He made sure that I saw his gun, which, … I had never seen a gun in real life,” Margulies recalled. “It always starts with, ‘I’m a healer, I want to massage you.’ I sort of squirmed my way out.”

Margulies did not give details, but said, “I got out of there unscathed. It’s a long story…but I never was raped, and I never was harmed, and I don’t know how I got out of that hotel room.”

Other women have accused Seagal of sexual assault and harassment, including reporter and actress Lisa Guerrero.
