Hillary Clinton’s health issues are no longer just rumors. Following a medical scare that caused her to faint at a 9/11 memorial ceremony in New York City on Sunday, Clinton is skipping out on a visit to California for Monday and Tuesday. Instead, she will rest and recover at her home in Chappaqua, N.Y.
Blaming the 9/11 episode on pneumonia, exhaustion and dehydration, the Clinton campaign has been desperately attempting to cover its trail of evidence regarding Hillary’s impending health problems. In clear video footage, the Democratic presidential nominee is seen falling on her way into her van. Clinton had to be helped by her security team and aides.
Dr. Lisa R. Bardack released the following statement to cover the incident:
“Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies. On Friday, during follow up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia. She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule. While at this morning’s event, she became overheated and dehydrated. I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely.”
Clinton’s planned two days of fundraising in California officially have been placed on halt. The campaign was also forced to cancel plans for Hillary to appear on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show. After the fainting, the former Secretary of State headed straight to her house in Chappaqua, where former President Bill Clinton was waiting, since he skipped out on the 9/11 ceremony.
