When asked on CNBC who would be the best president for 2016, billionaire business mogul Carl Icahn responded definitely Donald Trump. “I don’t think there would be any comparison. Clinton says she’s there to clean up this mess, but she’s been there all these years and hasn’t done anything.We need a major change or we will see riots in the streets,” said the CEO of Icahn Enterprises.
“It’s no secret…there’s pure gridlock [in Washington] and they can’t get anything done,” stated the fund manager. Icahn believes Trump would solve the problems of Washington. “[Trump’s] a consensus builder, he knows how to deal with people,” said Icahn.
While Icahn was initially offended by Trump’s comments about Judge Curiel, he has restated he does not let the comments affect his decision to vote for the presumptive nominee. “If they can’t find anything worse to say about Donald then say some nonsense […] let’s talk about Hilary Clinton’s problems,” said the activist investor.
