Republican Ohio representative resigns after allegations of inappropriate behavior with male in his office. Wes Goodman, a 33-year-old married state representative who ran for office on a Conservative Christian platform and said he believes that marriage should be between a man and a woman has been outed for participating in inappropriate behavior with another man. The incident allegedly occurred several weeks ago in his taxpayer-funded office, but no charges were filed, as it is reported to be consensual.
Goodman resigned from his position and admitted to the allegations Wednesday, saying, “We all bring our own struggles and our own trials into public life. That has been true for me, and I sincerely regret that my actions and choices have kept me from serving my constituents and our state in a way that reflects the best ideals of public service. For those whom I have let down, I’m sorry.” CLICK HERE TO READ MORE.

Democratic Senator cutting loose from Franken’s dirty money. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) is in the hot seat after a sexual assault claim was launched against him Thursday by TV host and sports broadcaster Leeann Tweeden, as she produced a photo to back up her claims.
Now Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) is anxious to get rid of a $30,000 donation she received from Franken’s PAC during the past three election cycles, and announced that she had reported the money to Missouri food banks.
“I’m shocked and concerned,” McCaskill tweeted Thursday. “The behavior described is completely unacceptable. Comedy is no excuse for inappropriate conduct, and I believe there should be an ethics investigation.”
