Donald Trump Jr.’s marriage to Vanessa Trump was in trouble years ago, according to Page Six, who reports that it almost ended in 2011 when Trump Jr. fell for a contestant on NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice.”

Page Six reports that Trump Jr. fell for Danity Kane star Aubrey O’Day and that Vanessa — who filed for divorce from Trump Jr. last week — was devastated after the president’s son said he planned to leave her for O’Day.

Around that time, according to the report, Vanessa was pregnant with Tristan, the couple’s fourth child

From Page Six: Don Jr. “pursued her. It was him who chased her,” said a source familiar with the situation. “He told her that his marriage was already in the process of dissolving.”

Added the insider, “I think his marriage to Vanessa was over long before Aubrey came along.”

A second source said that Donald Trump Sr. stepped in when he heard about the relationship and told Don Jr. to “knock it off.”

The first source said that his family “pressured [Don Jr.] to stay in his marriage.”

On election night in 2016, O’Day reportedly announced on Twitter that she had a story “worth millions now.” But sources say that O’Day was “truly in love with Don Jr.” and didn’t seek money to tell her story or to keep it a secret.

TMZ reports that if O’Day had an affair with Trump Jr. “she barely tried to conceal it when she released a song … about an affair, entitled ‘DJT'”(see video below).

From TMZ: The 2013 tune is about as on the nose as you can get … featuring a phone convo between Aubrey and a guy, with her asking him, “You want to believe that everything with me was a lie? A fantasy?” He replies, “I’ll always want you and always wonder about it, but it doesn’t matter because I have to stay here.”

O’Day’s season of “Apprentice” reportedly aired in 2012, and the song came out in 2013.

One source said the O’Day relationship was “the start of the downfall” of the Trump’s marriage.

The Trump’s have been married for 13-years and have 5 children.
