Secret Service agents called the New York Police Department for assistance Tuesday night when a man showed up at Trump Tower with a gun and refused to comply with authorities.

Just after 10 p.m. Tuesday, a man entered the building on Fifth Avenue and walked through a blocked-off area with a gun, and was stopped by Secret Service, according to New York Daily News.

The man was taken into custody by the NYPD.

It is unknown if Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was even in the building at the time, as he had a rally in Virginia Tuesday afternoon, and is scheduled to speak in Florida on Wednesday.
