The FBI documents that were released Monday show Hillary Clinton frequently and “blatantly” disregarded security and diplomatic protocol during her time as Secretary of State.

A former member of the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security told the FBI agents investigating Clinton’s private email server that Clinton was to ride in an armored limousine with the local U.S. ambassador while traveling abroad. The agent said Clinton “refused to do so, instead choosing to be accompanied in the limousine by her Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin”

“This frequently resulted in complaints by ambassadors who were insulted and embarrassed by this breach of protocol,” the security official told the FBI.

In the FBI documents, the former security officer also described the “stark difference” between Hillary Clinton and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s “obedience to security and diplomatic protocols”

Rice would closely adhered to the appropriate protocols, while Hillary’s protocol breaches were widely known in the diplomatic security community and were “abundant.”Top of Form

The former security officer said Huma Abedin was “often responsible for overriding security and diplomatic protocols on behalf of Clinton” since she appeared to possess “much more power” than other top aides to secretaries of state.
