Omarosa Manigault, announced she was selected for the role of Head of African American Outreach for the Trump presidential campaign. on Monday. She has previously appeared as a contestant on NBC’s “The Apprentice” with Donald Trump in 2004, where the two often went head to head.
“I am the director of African-American outreach for Donald Trump,” Manigault, 42, confirmed in an MSNBC interview Monday. “I am proud to serve in that role. It is a very difficult time for our country, but the good thing I know is that I know Donald Trump at his heart … and I know what he can do in that role.”
Manigault noted that she’s “surrounded” by African-Americans who want to see Trump become president. “Donald Trump is focused on improving the conditions of African-Americans in this country,” she said.
