After kicking the can down the road multiple times, Congress now has just five days to pass a major funding bill or risk a government shutdown, and immigration is still one of the top issues on their list.
Lawmakers on both sides are still pushing proposals to address amnesty for the recipients of the expiring Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, with some suggesting a three-year extension of the program in exchange for funding of President Trump’s border wall.
In an effort to continue exposing the dangers of open borders to America, Dennis Michael Lynch currently has a new documentary in production on the costs of illegal immigration. Copies of his first three films on illegal immigration, packaged as a Trilogy set, are also being sent to the White House and lawmakers on Capitol Hill by Team DML members, in an attempt to stop the passage of any amnesty bill.
