Donald Trump held a rally in North Carolina on Tuesday. During his speech, Trump touched upon the topic of picking new members of the Supreme Court. “If she gets to pick her judges, there’s nothing you can do, folks,” Trump said. “Although, the second amendment people, maybe there is. I don’t know.”

After his remarks igniting a firestorm on social media, Trump supporters argued that the candidate was referring to the National Rifle Association when saying “the second amendment people.” But liberals weren’t buying it, and the outrage was spreading like wildfire — “He just suggested that someone should shoot the next president!”, one person commented on Facebook.
Within a half hour, the Trump campaign put out the following statement:
It’s called the power of unification – 2nd Amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power. And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won’t be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump.
The Hillary Clinton campaign put out the following statement:
This is simple – what Trump is saying is dangerous. A person seeking to be the President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way.
One of the best reactions to Trump’s comments came from a rally attendee who heard Trump’s comments in real time. Check out the guy behind Trump.
