In a recent online poll conducted by SurveyMonkey, participants were asked to vote on their level of conservatism and who they trust more to lead the Republican Party: House Speaker Paul Ryan or presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump. There were 14,100 respondents, of which 12,507 were confirmed registered voters.
In the results, Trump beat Ryan by nearly 20%. He also favored over Ryan in all three levels: moderate, conservative and very conservative. Nearly six in ten Republicans would choose their trust in Trump over the House Speaker of the GOP. The poll was conducted between May 9 to May 15, and the results are shown below:
