Donald Trump went to Twitter on Friday to officially announce his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence. Hours later Gov. Pence had recorded his first flip flop on a controversial topic. However, this is one flip flop that should score praise from a majority of Trump supporters.
In December of last year, Pence said Trump’s temporary ban on all Muslims was both “offensive and unconstitutional,” but it appears his feelings about this issue have since changed. “I am very supportive of Donald Trump’s call to temporarily suspend immigration from countries where terrorists’ influence and impact represents a threat to the United States,” he told Fox News commentator Sean Hannity Friday.
