Sean Hannity’s 9pm show wasn’t the top performer on Monday evening.  Knocking him down to the number two slot was Rachel Maddow of MSBC.

With more than 3 million viewers on Monday, Maddow won the “top show” on all of cable news honors, while Hannity pulled in 2.8 million.

Even more disappointing for Fox News has been Laura Ingraham’s new program at 10pm. She was tackled by Lawrence O’Donnell at MSNBC. Laura took in 2.19 million viewers on Monday, and Lawrence scaled to 2.32 million.

Last week, Laura won 3 of the 5 nights, but on the days she won, it was by a small margin. O’Donnell is right on her tail. When Hannity was at the 10pm slot, he was consistently number 1.

The other new program on Fox News is hosted by Shannon Bream at 11pm.  She too lost the top honors to MSNBC’s Brian Williams.

As for the earlier shows, the 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm slots were won by Fox. So overall, it was Fox News on top from 6-8pm, and MSNBC the winner from 9-11pm. CNN is a distant 3rd throughout the evening.
