Michael Folk, a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates and a pilot for United Airlines, was said to have faced criticism after making a disparagingly violent tweet about Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The tweet read that Clinton should be “tried for treason, murder, and crimes against the US Constitution… then hung on the Mall in Washington, DC” for her use of private email servers while in office.

Folk is now being investigated by his employment company for the tweet, and some say he may be investigated by higher ranks of authority. Also, Folk used the wrong verb as well. Pictures can be “hung,” but people such as criminals are always “hanged.”

Did Folk go too far with the tweet?
