Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, a Republican governor in a state where Democrats outnumber Republicans 2-1, says he doesn’t plan to vote for his party’s presumptive presidential nominee. He also revealed he has grown “weary” of being asked whether he would vote for Donald Trump as president,
The Republican governor visited to Prince George’s County on Wednesday to meeting with elected officials, tour business and talk with constituents. The Washington Post, who just recently had its press credentials denied by Trump, reports Hogan was asked if he would vote for Trump during the visit.
“No, I don’t plan to,” Hogan said. The governor said he’s not sure who he will vote for, but will most likely do a write in.
Hogan also won’t be attending next month’s Republican National Convention due to his not-so-secretive disdain for Trump. The RNC according to Trump will be a fun spectacle and will have a unique theme.
