A batch of 20,000 emails between Democratic National Committee officials have reportedly just been released – courtesy of Wikileaks.

The Daily Caller reported that just weeks ago a hacker using the name Guccifer 2.0 released records from the DNC’s computer system, including internal planning notes and Democratic donor lists.  The hacker claimed at the time that they had also obtained DNC emails.

The hacker (or hackers) claims to be Romanian, according to Daily Caller, but they are suspected to be a team of Russian hackers.

DNC Chairperson Debbie Wasserman-Schultz has conceded that their system was infiltrated.

The released emails are reportedly between the dates of January 2015 to May 25, 2016. There is already controversy about how the Clinton campaign planned to attack Bernie Sanders and his religion.

Wikileaks claims the email release is just “part one” of a new series it is calling “Hillary Leaks.”    They are happily tweeting away today, with teasers, links and quotes from the hacked emails.   Below is just a sample.
