A segment of the CBS News “60 Minutes” interview with Hillary Clinton and her running mate, Tim Kaine, was cut of the of the broadcast – for obvious reasons.
In the cut segment, Hillary Clinton pretended to know nothing about the WikiLeaks emails uncovered, which proved the Democratic National Committee was rigging the election in her favor, saying she hadn’t read them.
60 Minutes host Scott Pelley asked Clinton about a certain email where DNC was trying to frame Bernie Sanders as an atheist.
“I am adamantly opposed to anyone bringing religion into our political process. I mean, the Constitution says ‘no religious test.’ So that is just wrong and unacceptable,” Clinton said.
Pelley said. “They seem to have their thumb on the scale for you.”
“Again, I don’t know anything, I don’t know anything about these emails. I haven’t followed it,” Clinton responded.
As a result of the leaked emails, the DNC Chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, was forced to resign.
Having just claimed to know NOTHING about the emails, Clinton then hired Wasserman Schultz for a prominent role on her campaign.
