Peter Thiel, an openly gay entrepreneur, venture capitalist and co-founder of PayPal, was one of the breakout speakers at the RNC tonight. His quips about Hillary Clinton’s incompetence, his pride in being a gay Republican, and his support for Trump’s vision of a “bright future.” Thiel’s speech ended with a standing ovation.
Hailing from his work environment at Silicon Valley, he talked about revitalizing the economy and the tech sector, lambasting Hillary’s incompetence to actually stimulate a change for the better. He also mocked the transgender bathroom issue.
Thiel is the second gay person ever to speak at a Republican convention, and the first openly gay man. His voiced support for Trump drew humor, applause and admiration from the crowd. Based on reactions to his speech, many people want Thiel to become a member of Trump’s future administration and plan.
Peter Thiel for President. Common sense.
