On Sunday Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin (R) said that she has not been vetted as a potential running mate for presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.
In an interview with CNN on Sunday she stated, “I have not been asked for specific documentation, and I have not had a specific conversation with any of his staff about being vice president.”
“It’s certainly an honor to be mentioned with numerous other people across our nation,” Fallin said.
She added, she has “not been asked to provide information.”
In April South Carolina Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer’s suggested that trump pick Fallin as his running mate, and trump responded in a tweet saying the suggestion was “great advice.”
Fallin was also asked if she had been offered a speaking slot at the convention, however, she would not say if she was.
