Actor Tom Sizemore has been accused of violating an 11-year old girl in 2003, during a film shoot for “Born Killer.” According to reports, after the incident, Sizemore was asked to leave the set while the allegations were investigated, and was eventually allowed back to do reshoots.

Although many on the films cast and crew were aware of the allegations, the incident was never revealed publicly.

“Born Killer” was a low-budget crime thriller. The alleged incident occurred while the child actress was sitting on Sizemore’s lap as they posed for photos to be used as a prop in the movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robyn Adamson, who portrayed Sizemore’s wife in the film, described what happened.

From the Reporter:

During one setup, which required just the two of them, Robyn Adamson, who portrayed the wife, stood away, near the photographer. She recalls of the girl, who was wearing a flannel nightgown: “At one point, her eyes got just huge, like she could’ve vomited. I was watching her. She soon reintegrated and kept going, although she had trouble taking direction. Later, when I was told about what happened, I knew exactly what it was.”

Catrine McGregor, the casting director who hired the young actress, described what she understood to have happened, having learned about the incident during a phone call with the child’s mother.

“The mother noticed that her daughter was unusually quiet and told her she was going to take her to this swimming place that was the little girl’s favorite thing,” says McGregor. “When the girl put on her bathing suit, she told her mother that it reminded her of the day before, in an upsetting way — that the bathing suit’s contact against her felt like what happened when the man had put his finger inside her.”

McGregor filed a complaint with the Screen Actors Guild’s legal department and pushed for Sizemore’s immediate dismissal from the project. The film’s producers say they also urged the family to file charges with the police.

The parents “did talk to the police but didn’t press charges,” one of the producers told the Reporter. Sizemore denied the allegation.

“We also talked to Tom at the time,” the film’s producer said, “and told him everything that had been told to us, and he said: ‘I’ve done a lot of awful things, and I’d never do anything with kids.’ We considered whether we had some responsibility to him to not pass judgment on him.”

His accuser, now 26, remains unidentified at her request. She recently hired a lawyer to explore legal action against both Sizemore and her parents.

Sizemore reportedly declined to address the situation, although his agent, Stephen Rice, said, “Our position is ‘no comment.'”

Sizemore has a sordid history which includes drug abuse and domestic violence. According to IMDB, there are over 30 projects in various stages of production to which the actor is currently attached.
