Presumptive GOP nominee Donald J. Trump owns some of the nicest golf courses in the world, and he is known to be a decent golfer himself. This weekend the billionaire real estate mogul picked up the support of a golfing legend who is widely regarded as the greatest golfer of all time. Jack Nicklaus has won a total of 18 career major championships, while producing 19 second-place and 9 third-place finishes in them, over a span of 25 years.
In an interview with CBS, Nicklaus discussed his business relationship with Trump and how he helps design golf courses for him.
Nicklaus told CBS that Trump is awakening the country and giving it a much-needed overhaul. “I like what Donald has done … he’s turning America upside down,”
Nicklaus added that Trump is a little rough around the edges when it comes to politics but that he believes the billionaire will learn as he goes. “I like the guy. He’s a good man,” Nicklaus said. “And certainly — if he’s the one that’s on the ticket, I’ll be voting for him.”
