Thursday, Oct. 26, is twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s 70th birthday. As well-wishers sent her birthday wishes, Donald Trump Jr. took a different approach.

“Happy Birthday Mom! So thankful for every birthday & every year we’ve shared. Looking forward to many more!” tweeted daughter Chelsea Clinton. She included a picture of her mother taken years ago.

In another message, Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) made a fanciful reference to what might have been by addressing Hillary as “Madame President.”

Still another user suggested Clinton’s birthday should be declared a “National Holiday called Real President’s Day.”

While the well-wishers were piling praise on the former secretary of state, Donald Trump Jr. posted a less ingratiating tweet, pointing out that last year, Clinton was proclaiming herself the future president of the United States on her birthday.

“A year later the arrogance and entitlement in this tweet is exactly why it was never going to happen,” Trump Jr. posted, including the Clinton tweet from October 2016 that read, “Happy birthday to this future president,” along with a photo.
