President Trump tweeted out praise Friday morning, over the news that ICE is getting MS-13 off the streets of America.

On Thursday, the Department of Justice announced the conclusion of a massive roundup by ICE of MS-13 gang members, called “Operation Raging Bull,” in which a total of 267 gang members were arrested.

A total of 214 gang members were arrested in the United States, and 53 were captured in El Salvador. Out of those caught in the United States, 198 were illegal aliens, with 135 from El Salvador, 29 from Honduras, 17 from Mexico, 12 from Guatemala, four from Ecuador and one from Costa Rica.

“Together, we’re going to restore safety to our streets and peace to our communities, and we’re going to destroy the vile criminal cartel, #MS13, and many other gangs,” Trump tweeted.

The president included a video with his Twitter post, which is a collection of remarks he made in a speech, promising his administration would destroy the violent MS-13 gang.
