In a brief, early morning Twitter post, President Donald J. Trump sent a message asking for prayers for two Navy aviators who’d lost their lives the day before.

On Tuesday evening, the United States Navy confirmed that two aviators had been declared deceased after they crashed off Key West, Florida during a training exercise in their F/A-18 fighter jet.

In his tweet, Trump wrote: Please join me with your thoughts and prayers for both aviators, their families and our incredible US Navy.
