President Donald J. Trump retweeted a few posts on Monday evening, covering a multitude of subjects.

The first two were from GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. In her tweets, McDaniel wrote: We’re in a prime position to defend our majorities in 2018. Let’s defy history.

She also wrote: Comey’s misconduct once led both Republicans and Democrats to call for his firing. His reputation rehabilitation book tour won’t help.

The next retweet was from the GOP’s Twitter handle. The tweet read: Our entire RNC family offers prayers of comfort and peace for Barbara Bush and the entire Bush family.

The Bush family announced over the weekend that Mrs. Bush is not in good health.

The next retweet was from Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump. She wrote: Looking forward to traveling to Manchester, NH tomorrow with Sec @stevenmnuchin1 to celebrate the last #TaxDay under the outdated former tax code. With the historic passage of the #TaxCutsandJobsAct, Americans are able to keep more of their hard-earned money in their pockets.

Next, Trump retweeted a post from Ways and Means House committee. They posted a link to an article and wrote: Tomorrow is #TaxDay and the good news is this is the last year you will have to file using the old, broken code. Check out Chairman @RepKevinBrady’s op-ed in @USAToday

Finally, Trump retweeted another post from McDaniel. She posted a link to an article about bonuses that some employees of McKee Foods Corp. received. She wrote: Crumbs are still coming.

Her tweet was in reference to some Democrats assertions that the tax cut bonuses and raises given to many employees after the GOP led tax overhaul are mere “crumbs.”
