There is a holiday for everything, or so it seems. Did you know that Sunday, August 6 is National Sisters Day?
It’s more of a social media holiday, with participating sisters being encouraged to get on their smartphones and tablets to type out #NationalSistersDay to encourage others to do the same, according to the website National Day Calendar, which states that there are more than 1,500 national days.
Sisters are also supposed to have a girls’ night out and honor one of the most important relationships a woman can have.
President Donald J. Trump’s two daughters and two daughters-in-law did not forget to celebrate their sisterhood on National Sisters Day Sunday, with Tiffany Trump in the lead, promoting her big sister Ivanka Trump’s book, Women Who Work, on her Instagram account.
“I’m so proud of my big sister @IvankaTrump on the launch of her #WomenWhoWorkBook! I can’t wait to start reading it!” she wrote.
A little while later, Ivanka celebrated the themed day with a social media tribute to Tiffany and sisters-in-law, Vanessa and Lara. “Love these ladies. #HappyNationalSistersDay,” she tweeted (along with two pairs of dancer emojis).

Ivanka Trump’s tweet featured a black-and-white photo with half-sister Tiffany Trump and sister-in-laws Vanessa Trump and Lara Trump.
Tiffany and Ivanka obviously resemble each other — they stem from the same father — but their two just-as-blonde sisters-in-law could also come from the same genetic pool.
The Trump women are all stunningly pretty and fashion-savvy, but they’re all incredibly strong young leaders who must put up with a lot of grief these days as they witness their father, brothers and husbands being attacked in the liberal-led witch hunt that is the Russian probe. That’s not even mentioning the fact that they’ve all been under the microscope themselves since President Donald J. Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2017.
As one of her father’s official White House advisers, Ivanka Trump especially has been in the media spotlight, but she has yet to be implicated in the Russian investigation, unlike most of the men in her family, including her husband, Jared Kushner, and her brother Don Jr.
Tiffany Trump has really tried to stay out of the limelight. She spent the summer traveling with her boyfriend throughout Europe as she gets prepared to start law school at prestigious Georgetown University this fall.
Lara Trump (Eric’s wife) is following in Ivanka Trump’s footsteps by getting more involved with her family’s new “business” and leading the re-election campaign process. To that end, she’s been trying to bring Donald J. Trump supporters “real news” by posting videos on a Facebook Live show.
Vanessa Trump (Donald Jr.’s wife) is perhaps the least public of the four women and doesn’t appear to be taking an active role in Trump’s administration just yet.
Final note: Be sure to call your sister today, assuming you have one!
