Eric Trump, like his father Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, has strong words for Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, stating the United States deserves a president who isn’t “filled with scandal.”
“It’s really amazing. She’s used her position in government, not for the betterment of the country, but for the betterment of herself,” Eric Trump said on the John Catsimatidis radio show Sunday. Eric points out the Clinton Foundation as the conduit of corruption, implying the Clintons use the organization to steer money to companies owned by friends.
“It is truly one of the greatest crimes ever,” Eric Trump said. “She was bragging about how her and [former President Bill Clinton] came out of the White House dirt poor. How do you make a couple million dollars over a six-year period of time?
Eric then bashed Hillary over her failure to beat Bernie Sanders at this stage in the race: “Hillary has over 730 people on her campaign stuff. [Trump] has 70, and he beat 17 people. She can’t beat Bernie as a sole socialist. It’s really incredible.”
