A teenager in Texas was attacked in a restaurant Tuesday for wearing a Make America Great Again hat.

The 16-year-old supporter of President Trump was eating with friends at a Whataburger in San Antonio when another patron came up to him and threw a drink in his face.

The article goes on to state the following:

Hunter Richard said his hair was pulled when the man ripped the hat off his head in a confrontation that went viral on social media.

“F*** the president,” the man yelled, telling Richard the hat would “go great in my [expletive] fireplace” as he walked away.

The man who assaulted Richard was fired from his job at a local bar, Jillian Mele reported.

Richard, who filed a police report, told News 4 San Antonio that Americans who disagree on politics need to have conversations instead of resorting to physical attacks.

“I support my president and if you don’t, let’s have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off. I just think a conversation about politics is more productive for the entire whole rather than taking my hat and yelling subjective words to me,” he said.
